National Sale Offering
We are offering 2 truly elite embryo packages in the 2023 National Braunvieh Sale, January 17 in Fort Worth, TX.
Each package will have 5 number one embryos.
One package will be from Donor dam DIA N Alex 40B (pictured below) and sired by N7R Polarsteel 57E. We used 3 straws of sexed heifer semen and 1 straw of conventional semen, so your chances for heifers is significantly higher. This mating puts a real emphasis on style and function.
The other package is out of DIA N Hershey 16X (Redhavens dam) and sired by N7R Montoya 27E. This mating puts a real emphasis on marbling and function.
These mating's are stacked with many of great cows we have been selectively linebreeding with for the last 20 years, including the Goldberry, Alex, Treat, Erle, 444, and N52 lines.
Take advantage of almost 30 years of our breeding program in selecting for function, maternal, efficiency and carcass. You can cut decades off the time it takes to progress your program forward! Watch for more information here or in your National Sale Catalog which will be out soon and posted on braunvieh.org

HISTORY
The Family Farm has evolved over the years, originating with my Grandparents buying the land in Madison County Nebraska in 1947. It wasn't always known as the 7 Ranch. Originally it was simply known as the Bob Rice Farm and was a diversified livestock operation consisting mainly of Beef Stockers and Row Crops.
After my grandfathers tragic death as the result of a tree cutting accident, my parents moved back home in 1957. Remaining a diversified livestock and row crop operation, Nelson Duroc's became the primary focus, with a Grade A Holstein Dairy being added in the 70's. When my Dad and I started raising Braunvieh in 1994 we became BAA members 581 under the name Diamond N Braunvieh with a DIA N prefix. As our Braunvieh Herd developed, my owned portion of herd was registered under the N7R prefix for Nelson 7 Ranch, as the operation is located in Madison County whose license plate number is 7. Upon my Dad's passing all cattle are now registered under the N7R prefix.
Brittany and Connor are the fourth generation of our family to own livestock on this operation.
